Mr. Brooks' psychological career began in the Republic of Ireland where he received his Master’s equivalent in Counseling and Psychotherapy at Dublin City University and worked in private practice for seven years, specializing in the provision of psycho-oncology services. Upon returning to the U.S., Ryan obtained Michigan licensure and a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Wayne State University. Ryan offers support to cancer patients, their families and oncology nurses while coping with a present or past cancer-related experience.

Dawn has over 18 years experience working with adults in all areas of life who face difficult life challenges and may be coping with symptoms of depression and/or anxiety,  grieving losses; and/or coping with traumatic events.  
Dawn has a Master's Degree in Clinical and Humanistic Psychology and is fully licensed with an MA as a Limited Licensed Psychologist in the State of Michigan. She is trained in a variety of Best Practice modalities including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Grief Work and Trauma interventions. 
She is also trained in and offers Alternative Energy Practices when requested.

Dr. Cohen has been a licensed practicing psychologist since 1965. He has specialized in treating children, adolescents and families. Dr. McMillan earned his Doctoral Degree in Clinical and Humanistic Psychology from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology. He employs a wide variety of therapeutic approaches, developing a unique method for each client which is tailored to meet his or her specific needs. He works with clients seeking assistance with: relationship and family issues, including pre-marital counseling; life transitions, including marriage, birth, divorce, career change, grief and loss; depression or anxiety; and addictions. Dr. McMillan has specialized training and experience in the areas of alcohol/drug addictions, relationship issues, internet related addictions, sexual issues, crisis intervention, and critical incident debriefing. Valerie has a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and has been providing therapy to children, adolescents and young adults since 2008.  She utilizes innovative mediums and provides a psychodynamic approach. 

Val specializes in helping patients that suffer from anxiety, mood disorders, anger management, trauma, and childhood/adolescent transitions.  She offers parents an opportunity to develop a deeper insight into their child/adolescent's behavior and strategies to support their changes. Her goal is to help all her patients make changes and develop insight to overcome future obstacles.


Karen has a bachelors degree in teaching from the University of Michigan and Masters degree in Social Work from Wayne State University. She has also furthered her training with certifications in both EMDR and Clinical Hypnosis. With her eclectic treatment orientation and knowledge of when to weave in adjunctive therapies, Karen's clients seem to move toward their goals in a timely manner.

I aspire to assist and guide individuals and families, and the community to mental health and awareness, through psychological evaluations, analysis, individual and family counseling. I am a veteran of the Detroit Police Department and served as the lieutenant, and commanding officer over the Homicide Task Force. I have over 34 years of police experience, 18 years of which spent doing homicide investigations, which includes responding to; directing, and investigating fatal and critical incidents involving law enforcement. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology, and a Bachelor’s of Science, Mental Health Concentration, from Madonna University. I am proficient in administering Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and future certified instructor for EMDR. I am accomplished in administering and scoring numerous psychological evaluations, and applicant for Wayne State University Counseling Psychology, Fall 2022.   I am certified and dedicated to working with all communities, and also with first responders, doctors and nurses in all communities having an insiders perspective as to what first responders endure, and the knowledge and skills to listen, validate, reflect, and help your ability to see various alternatives and new possibilities.

Ms. Goldfein is experienced in the treatment of adults, adolescents, and couples. She provides services to those who may be dealing with disappoinments and uncertainties, as well as life transitions, health issues, depression, and anxiety. Ms. Goldfein provides services related to trauma recovery, parent-child conflict, marital and family problems.
